A hands-on, faith-centered outreach event. We teach essential car care, promote safety on the road, and help families in need, giving your church a practical way to bless its community.

Proposed event schedule
DAY 1 · HANDS-ON TRAINING
Basic Car Care & Emergencies
- —Tire changing and roadside safety
- —Checking tire pressure, oil, and other fluids
- —Jump-starting a battery
- —Understanding warning lights and basic car checks
- —Building a low-cost emergency kit
DAY 2 · DEMONSTRATIONS
Simple Maintenance Anyone Can Do
- —Oil checks and oil change demonstrations
- —Replacing wiper blades
- —Changing light bulbs (headlights, taillights, brake lights)
- —Brake inspection and replacement basics
DAYS 3–4 · OPTIONAL
Community Repair Assistance
- —Limited slots for minor repairs at low or no cost
- —Priority for single parents, widows, and families facing financial hardship
- —Brake pads, belts, hoses, batteries, and other basic needs, as parts and time allow
Event setup
- Location
- Parking lot space or a covered awning with access to electrical outlets.
- Audience
- Open to the congregation and surrounding community.
- Tools provided
- StayPut supplies tools, demo vehicles, and qualified instructors.
- Volunteers
- Church members help with registration, refreshments, and prayer outreach.
- Safety
- Waivers required for hands-on participation; gloves and eye protection provided.
Costs & parts
All labor is free. We ask only that fuel expenses be covered.
Sponsorships and donations help fund parts for the repair assistance days. With pre-registration, we can order parts through our discounted retailers to save cost (with reimbursement). Otherwise, any local parts store works well.
Why a church partnership?
I've had a wrench in my hand since I was a kid, and I don't believe that was an accident. The skills I've been given aren't just for building a business. They're meant to serve people. Every day I see what one breakdown can do to a family that's already stretched thin: a missed shift, a child stuck without a ride, a repair bill that can't be paid. The church is where our community already gathers to love its neighbors, so it's the natural place to put these skills to work. My hope is that every person who comes leaves more confident, safer on the road, and reminded that they're cared for, and that we can show God's love in a way you can put your hands on.
